2022 Hilliard Track Club Scholarship
As part of our mission to inspire youth to participate in the many disciplines of the sport (i.e., sprints, long-distance, jumps, and throws), Hilliard Track Club is pleased to offer a $500 scholarship to a senior athlete who is participating in a Central Ohio high school track and field and/or cross-country program and who is planning to attend any accredited nonprofit public or independent college/university or technical school in 2022. Two (2) non-renewable scholarships will be awarded based on academic, athletic, and non-athletic achievements.
What are the selection Criteria?
- Applicant must be graduating from a local high school.
- Complete the academic requirements necessary for enrollment in a two- or four-year college/university, or technical school.
- Reasonable academic achievement (3.00 GPA or higher). Discretion is granted to the scholarship selection committee for a GPA in order to accommodate a promising student.
- Submission of an official high school transcript.
- Completion of the scholarship application.
- A recommendation letter is not required but may be submitted at the discretion of the applicant to [email protected].
- All Applications must be submitted electronically. Deadline for submission is March 27, 2022.
Whom should I contact if I have additional Questions?
- A committee of Hilliard Track Club Board members will evaluate the applications and the winners will be contacted by April 17, 2022.
Incorporated in August 2011, the Hilliard Track Club is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization and a USTAF club that offers a community athletics program for youth of various age and ability levels, promoting and encouraging all types of competition and recreational athletics (cross country, track and field and long-distance running).
